Our network is extremely familiar with these three critical success factors.

Cost and Delivery are items that are negotiated during the estimate process. It is important to understand the constraints and goals, as Delivery can be impacted by Cost constraints, and Costs are impacted by Delivery and Quality specifications.

Quality is more than just producing items that look nice or that are "well made" - for our team quality is about delivering what is expected in a consistent manner.

This is why our team puts so much energy into understanding and verifying the specifications for the project. Some of our customers need help with coordinating their specifications and outlining their needs. It is possible to specify something that would be rejected if delivered as specified.

There are many articles being written about failed outsourcing projects and they usually fall into one of two categories:

Specifications did not clearly communicate the desired outcome
The factory was unresponsive in developing the skills or capabilities to be of service

CMN is a network of responsive factories, we exist because our network has experience adapting to customer needs in an effective way.

CMN improves the probability that specifications and desired outcome match through communication and working closely with our customers. Where needed we even help the customer develop their specifications.

REGARDING CERTIFICATIONS

Since CMN has an extensive network of factories, we map out quality considerations when choosing the best factory for the project we are taking on. Some factories have automotive experience and have AS-9000 certification or QS-9000 certification, while some factories have ISO-9000 certification. In addition, there are facilities with Six Sigma experience. All facilities have excellent processes and skills even if they have not been formally reviewed.

CMN works with each factory to set goals and enhance quality and responsiveness.
